A Road To Be Taken

Start from now 2 Febuary till 30 March, I'm really need to think about my future seriously. Why ?? because application to public university is open during that time. I'm currently don't have any slight idea about taking any course or programme that they offer.

Past few week ago when I was still in KL, my auntie ask me to join her and her daughter (which same age with me) to the “”Jom Masuk U” carnival in Bukit Jalil” @Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam. I came along with my brother, so if there anything I don't understand I can ask him.

The carnival just like pc fair, got booth for local university offering their program with flyers and brochure. So I just collect the flyers from any university that I like. There also got private university booth, except for limkokwing university. Which was i don't know why their aren't here.

This is flyers from UITM, which was the famous public local university in Malaysia. I can't find any Multimedia Course flyers cause there were like hundred of people flooding in the booth, so I just get the ICT flyers. UITM was really my first choice from the beginning, but then my brother recommended me to go to the private university more. Naa, I still can check the course that they offer on the net, so no worry I try to think again.

University Of Malaya!! my dad would be really proud of me if I got into this university cause he was from there in the late 60's. To pursuit Degree in UM, they only take for Matrik/STPM and Diploma. Look like if I want to get in, I need to do matrik first then i can apply for the degree. Lot people said being in matrik was really hard time. Man, this is harder than math. I want to pursuit degree !! I don't want taking diploma, cause it cost more money and more longer I will study there. So I just need to think more about this.

Multimedia University !! my brother really recommend me there, cause his wife is a programmer from there. I check the faculty of Creative Multimedia in Cyberjaya campus, 3 years Degree + 1 Year foundation it cost RM 50,700. Woah!! it really cost lot's of money, I hope I can get some loan with PTPTN :P . My auntie said "Guy like you, you deserve in limkokwing more". My mom just said "My son ?? limkokwing ?? hahaha, I bet he going to be around by girls by he looks". I was like "WTH ??", nah, limkokwing cost more than MU which mean more money is out.

UCTI !! the university that always call me for taking tour to their university. To be honest, I never heard UCTI before. I view their course offers, most of them are in ICT and multimedia. This university is located at Bukit Jalil, not very far from my brother apartment. Im not finish reviewing their offer yet, but my senior said...

LOL !! I'm not going went there for girls. But their flyers is really eye-catching. Oh well, better think again~

UTP !!! FFFFUUUUU !!!! I SCARE !!!!!!! haha I just went around in UTP booth. Mostly they offer engineering program, but I saw there also ICT. Nahhh, I don't want to stay at Perak and yet it really long shot for me to get there.

Nottingham University, not really interesting for me but if you study hard in here, they will send you to England. They also got offer Multimedia program.

and finally some other random flyers. OMG !! check it out, I took flyers from UIAM. My auntie can smuggle me there cause she got friend who was lecturer in UIAM, but too bad there not multimedia course. My brother took that JPA flyers for me, he think I can be like him getting scholarship from JPA and study aboard, prfff !! im different. I also took politenik as for the backbone, if my result are not so well.

So that it's, I'm really not in mood thinking all of this, but I had to. This is for my future and my life. Application to public university is open starting today till 30 March. There still time for me to think really hard about this whole thing. I can't be rushing. Life was really hard oh well till then~

okay dude, here’s some briefing about life after spm.
1) matrix – if you are very rajin, you can score well. but remember, matrix competition is WAY harder than school. need to fight with ALL around the malaysia for place in degree. if not rajin pointer not good they send you to unimap or any new U with course you hardly want. secure level DEFCON 1
2) diploma – if you really want to take your time then this is the best choice. if you are rajin, you only do 3 sem then skip to degree. but only applied to certain U like uitm. no need to be really rajin, cukup2 makan okay la. but once grad you could work already even if no degree. secure level DEFCON 2
3) asasi – like matrix but depend on U for its hardness. let me get this straight :
asasi UM = sekolah
asasi UIAM = sekolah arab
asasi UPM = sekolah teknik area pertanian
asasi UiTM = sometime tadika sometime sekolah rendah
even if pointer ok2 you could still get in the U but i heard cannot change U ( go and confirm this, i just heard the rumors la ). secure level DEFCON 3
4) foundation aka asasi at IPTS – good, and like asasi, but sometimes can be pretty hard because they like to kick students. but some U have better facilities than IPTA, e.g. UTP have the best la compare to UniTen, but if want to further for IT thingy or Multimedia go for MMU, then apply scholar la. if not PTPTN the last resort. this also depend on your SPM result. secure level DEFCON 1-2
